Before founding The Lugo Law Firm Ms. Lugo lived and worked in Mexico City, where she served as lead counsel for Banamex, one of the top 50 largest banks in the world in terms of assets. She structured and negotiated multi-million-dollar international transactions, receiving an award from LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene, and McCrae for a transaction in the amount of 375 million dollars, structuring and refining legal operations for the Bank’s Cayman Islands subsidiary, and serving as lead counsel on multiple deals for the Bank’s International Custody and Treasury Departments.
She served as a Trust Officer for Bancomer’s Cayman subsidiary, where she drafted million-dollar and up standardized trust documents and trained the Bank’s nationwide sales force on how to present and sell trusts to high-net-worth clients. She custom tailored several for some of the top business owners in the Country.
Ms. Lugo brings extensive corporate legal experience from the technology sector, having served as Regional Legal Head for Computer Associates International, Inc. There, she managed the highest-volume legal region in the U.S. and co-developed the standardized contract and compliance procedures later adopted by the Company to use across every legal division in the Nation.
Today, Ms. Lugo applies her rigorous attention to detail, negotiation skills, and international experience to fight for clients facing criminal charges in Texas.
